What Green Shoots?

When the Alain Ducasse restaurant Adour opened in 2008, tables were booked for weeks ahead. I popped in for a quick appetizer tonight at 6:30 pm and found the legendary bar empty, with plenty of empty tables in the opulent dining room. The staff was as good as ever. I had the duck. It was superb. So why the empty tables, after an up day and quarter in the stock market? Maybe the high frequency machines that run the market these days don't like French food.

No green shoots?

The restaurant had no salad? Scandalous. You must let them know how you feel.

Cheers, :)
